About the artist

“As a Portuguese artist my work tends to reserve and promote the cultural heritage of Ribatejo and its equestrian traditions, serving as a testament to the enduring legacy of Portuguese horsemanship, inspiring others to appreciate and cherish this unique aspect of my national identity.”

Marta Justiça (1999, Portugal) was born with a passion for horses and art. Growing up surrounded by the serene beauty of the countryside, the artist found inspiration in the graceful movements and majestic presence of these magnificent creatures.

Before completing her Degree on Product Design, the artist embarked on a journey to hone their skills and pursue their dreams of becoming a professional equine artist. Driven by an insatiable curiosity and a desire to perfect her craft, Marta Justiça studied other artist’s legacy on its own in order to absorbing knowledge and techniques that would serve her well in her dual pursuits. In addition she worked in “PullCast”, from Covet Group, where she developed a project of luxury door hardware inspired in the Lusitano tale.

As Marta honed her artistic skills, she devoted herself to capturing the essence of the Lusitano horse in all its glory. With each brushstroke, she sought to convey the spirit, strength, and elegance of these magnificent creatures, paying homage to the centuries-old tradition of horsemanship that defines Portuguese culture.
