Marta Justiça is a Portuguese artist whose practice explores memory, movement and the relationship between form and surface.

Working primarily in oil paint and ceramics, she draws on the horse as a central artistic language. Observed, remembered and reimagined, its presence moves through the work as a way of exploring gesture, rhythm and emotional resonance.

Through layered surfaces and evolving forms, her work inhabits the space between lived experience and imagination, where traces of landscape, memory and movement remain embedded within the image.
